Patient Coordinators
All front office coordinators have been in the dental field before joining Ranchview Family Dentistry. They come with a vast knowledge of patient care and have graduated from dental assistant school. They are present to assist you in maneuvering your insurance benefits, financial options and any questions you may have regarding your dental care with us.
Hygienists
Most of us have heard of dentists. Fewer have heard of a dental hygienist — and even those that have heard of them might wonder what they do. A dental hygienist is an important part of your dental team. In fact, you have probably worked closely with a dental hygienist without realizing it. Our hygienists have an associates’ degree or bachelor’s degree before they went to hygiene school. They went through two years of training before they can take the exam to become a licensed hygienist. The training period includes both classroom and lab time, as well as clinical experience in an actual practice. This training helps ensure that knowledgeable, dedicated professionals are in charge of the care of your teeth. Our hygienists focus on getting to know you and your goals for maintaining your periodontal health. They will spend the time to encourage, educate and recommend the necessary treatment for you to keep your teeth for a lifetime. With state of the art Cavitron, Piezon, AirFlow polisher and their skills in hand instruments, your cleaning appointments will be faster and much more effective than just your traditional hand scaling alone.
Chairside Assistants
Our assistants are specially trained for patient comfort and care and graduated from Dental Assistant School. They are certified and registered with State Board of Dental Examiner. All of our assistants are compassionate, efficient and assist our doctors with a gentle touch. They strive to make your appointment as relaxing as possible so that you can go on with your day. They will do what is necessary to put at ease during your visit at Ranchview Family Dentistry.
